Race Course Description
26.2 truly magic miles, through all four parks, start at Epcot, then head to the Magic Kingdom and through Cinderella’s castle. Next up is the Walt Disney World Speedway with classic cars and an on-speedway run, exiting to rarely seen back-roads and Disney facilities before going to Animal Kingdom. Animal Kingdom offers elevation gain, then returning to Disney World roadways and the ESPN Zone Wide World of Sports Complex. Baseball fields, tracks and pedestrian paths make for twists and turns and some special surprises. Hollywood Studios and the Epcot Resort area round out the final few miles as runners race to Epcot for a glorious finish! All courses subject to change. Please see our course maps for more detail.

Water & Medical Stops
Water stops are found every mile along the course, with a Clif Energy Shot and food stops through out the course. There are medical personnel on bikes and course monitors to give assistance to guests in need, as well as medical tents through out the course.

Race Retreat is a reserved, tented area for runners and their family and friends to prepare for their race, get pampered, and reunite with their group once the race is over. This is in the Epcot parking lot area, where runners gather before heading over to their corrals. Pre-race bagels, fruit, peanut butter and snacks are included, along with coffee, water and PowerAde. The tent is temperature-controlled with tables and lounge areas, private restrooms and bag check. Post-race, the Race Retreat offers a full buffet brunch with eggs, bacon, sausage, cereals, breads, sandwiches, salads and beverages. Changing tents, first aid, self-treatment areas and massage tables ($10.00/10 minutes) are in the tent as well. Character meet-and-greets, commemorative towels and socks and a live video feed of the race complete the ultimate retreat experience.

Race Course Description
This 13.1 mile course wastes no time and heads straight for the Magic Kingdom and through Cinderella’s Castle, then hits the roadways with character stops and cheering fans before moving on to Epcot. In Epcot, you enter near the main entrance and to the right of Spaceship Earth, heading towards International World Showcase and back towards the finish. Race Course Description
This 6.2 mile course starts in the Epcot parking lot and immediately exits onto Walt Disney World Roads (Epcot Center Drive Eastbound) for the first two miles and heads towards Overpass Road (which, you might remember as the Marathon start is right there) for the third mile. This positions runners right behind World Showcase, Norway/China Gate to be exact, and heads towards the American Adventure Pavilion, for the fourth mile marker. The course continues to head towards International Gateway, leaving Epcot and wrapping left and clockwise around Crescent Lake, Boardwalk, Yacht and Beach Club for the fifth mile. The homestretch winds back to International Gateway, but behind the UK Pavilion and on Avenue of the Stars (as will be familiar to those who ran the 5K). Through Innoventions West, around Pin Traders and in the shadow of Spaceship Earth, is mile six. For the final, 0.2, runners are directed through the east gate, behind the scenes, to the Epcot parking lot (Imagine Lot) for the final finish. Please see the course map for greater detail.

Water stops are found every mile along the course in every race however, no additional food stop information exists at this time, as the 10K course and information regarding stops has not been released.  There are medical personnel on bikes and course monitors to give assistance to guests in need, as always.

Race Course Description
Epcot Disney’s Family Fun Run 5K will take participants through the parking lot, into Epcot, entering through the Mexico Pavilion, then left around World Showcase, behind the International Gateway between France and the UK and finally re-entering the park to finish right outside of the main entrance. Along the route are water stops and plenty of entertainment that make the 5K lots of fun for the walkers, runners, teens, tweens, kids and adults! Please note that recent changes by runDisney, will NOT allow strollers or children under 6 to participate in the Family Fun Run 5K. Please see the course map for further detail.

Water stops are found every mile along the course with a one food stop around mile 2. There are medical personnel on bikes and course monitors to give assistance to guests in need.

Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge

39.3 miles and two-days of running endurance. Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge combines Saturday’s Half Marathon and Sunday’s full Marathon for the total of 39.3 miles. Registration for Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge is required to receive the Goofy medal.

The Dopey Challengerequest-quote

48.6 miles of running insanity, the Dopey includes the 5K on Thursday, 10K on Friday, Half Marathon on Saturday and Full Marathon on Sunday. Six medals, four days and a tremendous amount of running has closed out registration– good luck to all those participating in the Dopey Challenge.

Race Description
Children 13 and under who participates in the runDisney Kids Races on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday during Marathon Weekend will be a winner and get to be a part of the weekend’s events. Encouraging and a great introduction to running,  your children will get to participate in any of the Kids’ Dashes or the Mickey Mile. There’s even a Diaper Dash for crawlers!

Parents are allowed to run with their children. There are rolling starts for each age graded event– starting with the 100m dash followed by the 200m, 400m and Diaper Dash. The One Mile will have a separate start location and time. All distances will utilize the same finish location. Children will receive a t-shirt, medal and finisher’s snacks and beverages.

Kid’s Party
There is an outdoor kids party following the events, with games, activities and a DJ to keep the party going. Food and beverages are available through out the events and after for additional fees.
